Okay, a bit more lightness. Correction: first bit of levity in a while. I re-read my last post-supposedly a break from heaviness--and I go off on crazy tangents and follow-up with an endless series of quotes on love. That caught my attention. I need to work on lightness and fun. In my defense, I do have a sense of humor though it tends to be dark, dry, biting, and few people realize I'm joking. Okay, I need a major overhaul not just a tune-up. It's worse, this is me on anti-... Read More

It's worth reviewing the 'raw data' on certain subjects from time to time to remind us of our responsibilities to each other. Over time, the 'sorry, doesn't make sense' list was longer than the 'okay, I can live wi... Read More
(Below is a post made to local online newspaper....the issues seem relevant to most everyone...)
Revelations of new cases of sexually misbehaving priests, cover-ups, and truly bizarre ripple effects continue to emerge. A magnificent example of the ineptitude of Church leaders to 'manage' this crisis hit the news a few weeks ago. Some may recall that groups of aging nuns are being evicted from their residences of 30-40 years, so the Church can sell the property to settle lawsuits ! ... Read More
