Yoshida Sensei has been a direct student of Shoji Nishio Shihan for over 33 years. He holds the rank of 6th dan in Aikido, 6th dan Renshi in Iaido, and 7th dan in Aikido Toho Iai.
This is his fourth seminar in the United States since Nishio Shihan appointed him as a representative to the U.S., France and other European countries at the 2000 seminar.
In the last three seminars, we have enjoyed his skilled and dynamic Aikido and friendly instruction. At this yearÕs seminar, Yoshida Sensei will cover the fundamental and core principles of Nishio Snesei's Aikido through empty-hand techniques expressed with bokken, jo, and sword. All levels and affiliations are welcome. There will be a step by step explanation of footwork and hands for beginners.
