On behalf of Jay Patterson (guardian_self_defense@yahoo.com), Mikhail Berman ( mikhailber@aol.com ) and myself, would like to invite you to the first ever seminar in Massachusetts of Russian Systema taught by Kevin Secours of Montreal. http://montrealsystema.com/

Kevin is a senior student of Vladimir Vasiliev and Mikhail Ryabko of Russian Systema and is a talented and engaging instructor in his own right. Having just returned from a trip teaching Systema in India, he was kind enough to fit this weekend into his schedule for us.

The fee for the weekend is $75.00 per person and very well worth it. (For local hotels or places to stay contact me privately):

As for the seminar schedule.

My proposition is to break the seminar into 4 blocks - two each day.

Because we will be based in mostly wrestling school here it is.

Saturday; June 14th:

Morning - Ground fighting - Defense on and from the ground. Offensive techniques from the ground.
Afternoon - Ground fighting -Defense and offense against knife and sticks attack while on the ground. Multiple attackers

Sunday; June 15th:

Morning - Standing up fighting - Systema principals and how they differ from other styles - karate, mua thai, boxing. Progression into punching, working against multiple attackers.
Afternoon - Standing up fighting - Progression into work against knifes, sticks. Working while pressed against a wall.

This schedule is in flux.

Venue: Guardian Self Defense (www.guardianselfdefense.org ) 257 West Main Dudley MA 01571 (774) 230- 8562.
We may change venues to a larger locus if we get a large RSVP reply.

Please RSVP by May 28th to any of the above.

Hope to see you on the 14th!
