Karate club thinking about giving up the ghost
Posted On 04/10/2007 03:13:24 by machomongo1

So I have been trying for a year give or take now to get the club up and running but have had no luck at all in finding a place that will let us use to train. I am waiting to hear back from one of the guys at work about seeing if we can use on of the VFW buildings that he is a member of. If not than I am just going to train by myself and if people want to get together at some time to train fine if not fine. I have tried and failed tried and failed tried and failed and now am just tired of trying to do something nice.

Seems that you need to be some sort of greedy person to get what you want even if it is something nice for the community. Funny how much things have changed in a state that was founded by Quakers that wanted to only get along with everyone. So much business BS and I just don't have the money to pay for a business license, insurance, equipment and a place.

WOW... THIS IS A SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS.  ARE YOU A MEMBER OF A QUAKER OR ANOTHER DENOMINATON.  CHURCHES ARE USUALLY GENEROUS WITH THEIR SPACES.
