So the community center emailed me saying the were sorry about the whole phone call with the equipment thing. Turns out someone on their own decided that the club would not work and was trying to get me to not get it going there. I was smart enough to email the higher ups that I had been talking to though about what was going on and they were kind enough to respond and help clear things up. The lady that I have been in contact with turns out was at a conference out of town and had no idea this had happened. So after much in the way of pleasantries and fixing things at both ends it looks like there may be a chance the club will be happening up there again but only for an eight week introductory course. Since they are still very weary of the club not taking off, as am I and feel that it would be better to already have somewhere that can be used now instead of waiting until October. But patience is a virture and I will be patient.
