Honesty..........
People who are what they claim to be. People who are secure and sure of themselves.....Sleeping on the couch with my blind cat Moki. Relaxing on the front porch with my husband watching the world go by. Strolling on the Riverwalk in San Antonio with my husband.

Liars and pretenders....people on cell phones who are oblivious to anything going on around them....
Insecure people who have to compete with everyone
at everything for no reason. Brings out the worst in me...like my own competitive side...maybe that is why I dislike it :-)

Hi Daisy,

I know just what you mean as far as trying to get things done. I suppose that is because we are such busy people. I managed to loose not one but two checks from students yesterday!!! And I know I had them in my hand. I am sure that has nothing to do with "old age" because i am not that old yet!!

Teaching lots of classes doesn't really give you the time to work out they way you want for yourself. i notice that since teaching often, I don't always have the time to do a wholc class for myself.. when I do, i just want to sit down and relax.

Things are going well here. I am gearing up for karate camp . I call it Karate Kamp for Kids. It is one week in the middle o August. usually a good time, since the all summer camps around here tend to end at the end of the second week. Mind starts on the third week. It was a stroke of luck the first time i scheduled it, and turned out to be great timing. Parents are still looking for ways to keep kids busy until school starts.

Take care,

Gerri

Hi Gerri,

I am sorry I have not sent you the money order for the books. I have it in my purse. I finally bought it a few days ago but my purse is as far as its gotten. I will make myself put it in an envelope and mail it out tomorrow. If not I will put it off for another week or two!!

I have been crazy busy lately and haven't been doing anything but teaching class 5 nights a week.

Hope all is good with you.

Meishi ha or Kuniba?

I never got a chance. But I decided I would just go. He told me when we were down there that it was okay if Rick and I came. So that is what we are going to do. Let's hope it really is okay :-)

Do you have any idea what will be going on? Rick said why should we bring our gi because we don't know what you guys will be working on. So do you know what you will be working on? We will have our gi just in case :-)

Good! I have no idea what's on the agenda. I don't even know what time class starts. What time does it normally begin on Thursday nights?

I'll contact Mark Oberkirch and get more details.
